Flowers
Flowers are a hallmark of Apple Tree Hill. Some of our perennials have been on the property for over 30 years. Long before it was fashionable, composting as a means of enriching the gardens earth was introduced on the property. Today, we cultivate over 40 annuals and perennials. Our seedlings are germinated locally and grown on-site in re-usable hoop houses placed upon our compost pile. We sell our seedlings at the farmers market at Deering Oaks on Saturdays and at a one-day sale at the farm. Check back for the time and date of our seedling sale for 2008.
